Cytocast is a Hungarian TechBio startup founded in March 2019 as a spin-off from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics. Our team is dedicated to revolutionizing drug discovery and development, and precision medicine through a patient-specific whole-cell simulation platform. At Cytocast, innovation, creativity, and care for patients are at the heart of everything we do.  

Our founders and management team come from academic backgrounds and have outstanding profiles in computational systems biology and bioinformatics. We have participated in numerous international startup competitions, including Falling Walls Ventures in Berlin, the Y Combinator Startup School in California, and Health Venture Lab's Reactor 2020, where we won the "Promising Future for a Medical Professional" award organized by GE Healthcare Health Venture Lab and EIT Health. 

Cytocast is also a proud member of the Microsoft for Startups program, which has enabled us to scale our simulation platform using cloud-based technology. In 2022, we were chosen as the second best Healthtech Startup in Central Europe in the Microsoft CEE Startup Awards. We were also awarded the NKFIH Horizon Europe Accelerator grant, which further supports our development efforts. In 2024, we joined the NVIDIA Inceptor program.
